Castlerigg Hall Caravan, Camping and Glamping Park is a quiet Keswick venue in the heart of the Lake District, awarded the Cumbria Tourism Holiday and Glamping Park accolade. The elevated position offers panoramic views over Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The family farmed the land since 1938 before converting old barns and farm buildings into campsite facilities. David Jackson, together with wife Jill and mother Betty, runs the park. The site features wildlife conservation initiatives including an eco beehive, bug hotel, bird-boxes and red squirrel feeding boxes, achieving Bellamy Pollinator Patch accreditation and David Bellamy Home Sweet Home Challenge recognition.
