Castlerigg Hall Caravan, Camping and Glamping Park is a quiet retreat in the heart of the Lake District, occupying the site of England's earliest recorded glamping location. The park enjoys an elevated position with panoramic views over Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. Established in the 1950s by John and Betty Jackson on land farmed by the family since 1938, it has evolved into a multi-generational enterprise. The park has earned the Cumbria Tourism Holiday and Glamping Park award and demonstrates strong environmental commitment through Bellamy accreditations, wildlife habitats including beehives, bug hotels and bird boxes, plus red squirrel feeding stations.
