Highside Farm is a traditional working sheep and beef farm spanning 300 acres in the Lake District, home to the Mawson family since 1963. The farmhouse underwent a major transformation into a B&B in 2003. Guests can stay in converted barn rooms with open-plan layouts, enjoy stunning views of Bassenthwaite Lake, and relax in a wood-fired hot tub. The farm features a children's trail with nine play zones, on-site dining including a real ale pub and bistro showcasing locally sourced ingredients, and campervan pitches. Around 200 sheep graze the surrounding fells, offering an authentic working farm experience.
