Hollows Farm Campsite

Keswick, GB

Hollows Farm is a working hill farm in Borrowdale offering summertime camping, woodland glamping pods and a self-catering cottage. The glamping pods nestle within ancient temperate rainforest, providing a peaceful retreat surrounded by fells, forest, rivers and wildlife—an ideal base for exploring the Borrowdale valley. The compact cottage sits in the farmyard, surrounded by fell views. The farm, purchased by the National Trust in 1941, operates on long-term tenancy preserving hill farming heritage dating back to 1614. Native Herdwick and Cheviot sheep graze lowland fields, whilst Luing cattle encourage habitat regeneration. Wildlife including red deer, badgers and numerous bird species thrive amongst dry stone walls and hedges.
