Keswick School of Industrial Art

Keswick School of Industrial Art is a society with a rich artistic heritage dating back to its first exhibition in August 1975, when it had around 40 members and 110 exhibits. The venue showcases diverse artistic mediums including paintings in gouache and oils, alongside sculpture, ceramics, pottery and other works. Current exhibitions feature guest artist John Harrison alongside established artists such as Sally Bohling, Janet Stukins and Catherine Bartle. Notable works on display include Langdale, Catbells from Derwentwater, Green Woodpecker, Brahms Trio and Ballet. The society has nurtured talented alumni who have gone on to perform at prestigious venues including Hampton Court.
