Lanefoot Farm Campsite and Glamping

Lanefoot Farm Campsite is situated between Braithwaite and Thornthwaite, below Whinlatter Forest and within sight of Bassenthwaite Lake, offering an ideal base for exploring the North Lakes area. The campsite welcomes tents on grass pitches, campervans, caravans and motorhomes on hard standing pitches with electric hook-ups. Camping pods sleep two guests and feature full insulation, heating, lights and built-in beds with specially fitted mattresses. Family pods accommodate up to three children with one or two adults. The Shepherds' Hut is surrounded by native mixed hedging with a stream nearby. A small shop stocks breakfast essentials from local suppliers, whilst kiln-dried wood and campfire kits are available for purchase or loan. Staff are praised for their helpful service.
