Osprey Viewpoint, Bassenthwaite

The Osprey Viewpoint at Bassenthwaite offers access to osprey viewing in Dodd Wood, a Forestry Commission woodland just outside the venue. The viewing area overlooks an osprey nesting site on the far side of Bassenthwaite Lake. Dodd Wood features numerous trails, walks and cycling routes suitable for all ages, with superb views across the landscape and abundant wildlife to observe.
