Twisted Willow
Keswick, GB
Twisted Willow is a café, Greek-Cypriot delicatessen, pet boutique, local makers' marketplace and community space inside Keswick's landmark Moot Hall in Market Square, and it doubles as a visitor-information stop. The menu is Cypriot and Mediterranean, with gyros, meze and homemade cakes, vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian options, and breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner served alongside coffee, wine and desserts. Takeaway and dine-in are both available, and dogs, children and groups are welcome. The dining space has vibrant décor and a large fish tank. An Artist Marketplace gives independent makers a permanent place to sell, and a flexible community space can be used for workshops, meetings, clubs and events. Twisted Willow was founded by Scott Thain and chef Constantinos Theophanous, who grew up in Larnaca, Cyprus, and shapes the menu around his family recipes.
